My regular hotel in Tallinn was quite a booked already, so, I looked for an alternative. I had 'bookmarked' this Ibis Styles already earlier - and got a fresh and warm recommendation from an acquaintance, as well. After all, it turned out this hotel suits my 'palate' superbly. It's clean and in good shape. The service is friendly. The beds are comfy, and the rooms nice. The photo theme is a funny plus; something unique. There are three things worth noting and flagging, though. One. The window sill of my room was quite noisy when it rained. Two. Also the AC in the room kept some noise (I know, another person may have said it was just effective and doing its job well). Three. The breakfast buffet was VERY typical and standard, and I would have loved to see the Estonian bakery tradition and competence showed off a lot more - i.e. the bread section was narrow and somewhat disappointing. Overall, I had a pleasant stay... and most importantly, I believe I do have a new favourite in town.
