Small room, shower without a tray, just a drain, I booked a room with a coffee maker and there wasn't one, they didn't clean the room, breakfast was just okay, also expensive, I feel scammed.

The hotel is in a greet location, and spans the two main streets in Old Tallin Town.
Unfortunately from the time we checked in (early) to the time we left we were not impressed with the staff or the accommodation.
Firstly, we (two 75 year old ladies) were offered a bunk room! We had specifically requested (& had confirmed) a twin bedded room. We left our luggage as we were too early to check in and asked the girl on reception to find us a twin bedded room for when we returned after 4.00 p.m. She did say this had happened many times before, and they had told the travel agent, but the same problem kept happening.
5 hours later we returned and she didn’t seem to have done much but did find a ground floor room, on the street, just off reception for which we had to pay an additional 25Euros per night. As we didn’t have a choice we paid. The room was a strange configuration with two sofa bases and a very thin “topper”, not really what you could call a mattress. Both up against the wall length ways and with the reading lights at the head of one bed and the base of the other. The room being on the pavement was noisy at night (there’s a bar next door). We had two cups and saucers, coffee sachets, sugar and a spoon but no kettle! It took 7 hours to obtain a kettle.
Most of the reception staff (except one girl who found us a kettle!) were surly and unhelpful.
For the cost of the holiday it was adequate, however I would not call it a 4 Star hotel. Shame really as it has great potential. Wouldn’t recommend room 102!

Very convenient location in the center, accessible by car for unloading/loading luggage. The affiliated parking is, however, about 0.5 km away, so it should be kept in mind when choosing if you have a car.
The hotel is old, moderately comfortable. The shower is inside the bathtub, making it inconvenient.
Breakfast is average.
Reception staff is not particularly friendly and not very willing to provide information. For example, they could explain that the hotel is on multiple levels, with access from two sides of the block, that the part with the elevator (which goes up to the third floor) is very labyrinthine, and that the stairs on the other side may be more convenient.
