Tallink City

Our tour group spent 3 nights here. We were not the only group as this is a very big hotel. Our room 341, was okay. Bathroom was really small and towels were very thin. Shampoo and bath gel were nice, but would also have liked conditioner and body/hand cream to be provided as other hotels sometimes do. Curtains were open when we first arrived to the room so room temp was 26C. It took 12 hours to cool the room down with the AC to 22C and since during our stay the temps were very high it made for an uncomfortable night. We had no coffee, teabags,etc and had to go ask the check in desk for some. The kettle was in the room but the box for the packets was empty. Housekeeping only cleans room every third day. You have to ask in the lobby for clean towels. Our groups rooms were cleaned everyday as per arrangements but our last night here used cups and glasses were not cleaned. Breakfast was good, but didn’t open until 7 am. Location is great. Big mall across the street with shops and eateries. Trams right outside the hotel. Old Town is a short walk.

The hotel is easily reachable by car and is located at the edge of the new area and the historic center. Dinner buffet not very appealing, breakfast average... but the location is well worth the stay!

just outside the historic center, amidst public transport for getting around. in front of a shopping center. spacious and clean rooms. excellent choice of dispensers in the bathroom to avoid waste. it was just that there was a bit of confusion at breakfast. perhaps I chose the wrong time.
