It bears me against writing a negative review, but I think that I myself would have liked truthful information about the hotel before we booked. I’m fully aware that you can’t have too high demands on a hotel in a small community and I like to overlook hotels that are worn out, but where the staff still keep clean. We stayed in room 104 and there it was really worn and very poorly cleaned. The skirting boards, lamp cords and ventilation vents were dirty and dusty. Shower head full m coating. There were two beds but only one bedside lamp. These shortcomings were not the worst with the room. A sweetish disgusting indefinable smell in the room lowered the standard to the bottom level. Tried to spray with my own perfume and to hang the car's scented tree in the room, but it only helped for a short time. The restaurant/breakfast room was quite ok and had nice views of a small lake. The food in the evening was ok and the breakfast as well.

Very Good Welcoming and quiet place. Spacious rooms with river views. Baths and breakfast are included in the room rate. We really ate very well in the restaurant hearty and tasteful dishes. I recommend.

I was with a group visiting Winter War sites in the area and stayed here two nights. The room itself was alright, I did not visit the spa. Breakfast and dinners were quite good. One night, having gotten back from our day trip quite late, I had a drink in the restaurant/bar area. It was getting close to closing time (22:00), not busy, and the bartender sat with me and we had a pleasant chat, it was a pleasing interlude and 'made my visit' so friendliness of staff made a positive impression on me.
