Lapland Hotel Luostotunturi

Second week in March here a week stayed in a fine log cabin. Good to get warm with the fireplace, the electric heaters and the underfloor heating. Fine bed and everything you need. Quiet location in the woods and looks beautiful with a thick pack of snow on the roof. Breakfast was good, but I do miss a fried egg or omelette, scrambled eggs get bored every day, no cappuccino either. Dinner good, there was always something delicious. Furthermore, we had nice weather, there was a thick layer of snow, only the last few days it started to thaw slightly during the day. All Scandinavian winter sports activities can be done within a short distance. Successful week!

Hotel ideally located to do lots of activities in Lapland! 15 min by bus from a farm in Rennes 5 min by bus to practice hole fishing And lapland safari right next door to be able to ride snowmobiles, snowshoes, ...with a team at the top! Little thought for Aaro, Julie, Thibault and Celestine as well as a very nice Finnish guide Nearby cross-country ski trail and alpine ski trail right next to the hotel The hotel is clean with very nice staff Well equipped room Non-gourmet restaurant but we ate well all week and warm atmosphere I highly recommend this hotel and lapland safari Thanks to scanditours for their professionalism and the quality of the services and especially to Jimmy always pleasant and pro as well as Romane

Stayed here December 2025 with my husband and 2 children (7 and 11) we booked a package holiday with TUI. The trip was amazing from start to finish. So magical. We stayed in one of the cabins which we loved as it had its own sauna and wood burner for warming us up after hours outside enjoying the snow. We were bed and breakfast and couldn't fault the food,we also had a 3 course buffet style meal on our final night and that was also lovely. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar a couple of times which was nice and cosy. Around the hotel is a lovely frozen lake, ski slope at which you can also snow tube or to bogan, a convenience store stocked with food,drink and essentials and a few lovely restaurants.
