The hotel is beautiful and well organized, but there are extremely distant accommodations and unfortunately we stayed in one of these. There is no kind of golf cart that helps in transportation, the path is whole irregular and walking with the children long distances was difficult. The worst happened the last day, the hotel did not provide any help with the luggage and we had to travel this journey with 4 bags alone.
The room we stayed had no blackout curtains, and as we were in July, the sun did not go down, i.e. room with clarity all night.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Santa World. Santa, the Elves, huskies and reindeer were all great fun.
But the best experience was Eeva, the receptionist at the Village. She was amazing. I have stayed in over 30 hotels on this holiday trip and Eeva has been the best receptionist. She was super friendly and spent lots of time with us explaining the village. She also let us check in early because our room was ready. Thank you Eeva.
For anyone thinking of visiting Santa, I highly recommend the Santa Claus Holiday Village

We stayed here for 3 nights last March. We arrived with the Santa Claus Express to the Rovaniemi train station. Once we reached the station, we took a red Santa's Express bus. The bus had an empty area for the disabled and stroller but did not have a dedicated luggage area. But that area could be used to store your luggage if it was not occupied.
It took around 20 minutes to reach the hotel. The bus stop is conveniently located just behind the Reception. We came around 8.30AM and we were kindly assisted by a very nice staff. She allowed early check in and she allocated us a room, a hugely appreciated gesture. She warned us that the way to our room was quite far but there was no staff helping us with the luggage. She offered help though with the luggage, but we had to wait until one became available, an offer which we regretted not to take. We booked a family suite which was located pretty far from the reception. It was really difficult to walk with luggage from the reception to the room. Unfortunately, we broke our luggage handle bar while we pulled our luggage. I urged you to just wait for their staff to help you with the luggage or to book a room closer to the bus station and the reception instead.
Our family suite was located in Building C, facing the forest and a snow mountain for our children to play in. The room was really spacious and it came with a kitchenette, sofa bed, dining table and a patio with Christmas tree. The bed was comfortable and the linen felt fresh. The bathroom was adequate for the four of us. Our room also had a sauna, which we utilised it a few times, a perfect place after a long day at the Santa Claus Village.
The breakfast was pretty good, but the spread was somewhat limited. During our 3 nights there, we had nearly the same options every day. During check out, we were assisted by a very nice lady (we should have gotten her name). She was really friendly and kind. She even helped us with keeping our luggage while we had our breakfast. She is definitely a gem for the management.
