Very well appointed modern apartments. One of the best we have stayed in. Pool is brilliant, clean, warm water. Well worth the price. Location is a bit random 2km from town, but fine if you have a car. The only watch out is paid parking which I felt was a bit mean.

My review is going to only go over points regarding the spa/pool area, so if you’re looking for tips on the hotel experience you won’t find them here. I visited the spa for the forst time in 10 years with my friend. The state of it was quite depressing. Here are some things I noticed while visiting, listed: -The same rockwalls, prop fish, paint on the wall etc. is the exact same from 10 years ago. It’s bleached by the sun and cracking away -Most of the fake plants have been removed, especially from the big pool on the lower level. It made the atmosphere look very bland and rough. -The water showers in the caves of the lower pool have been removed, as well as the star covered ceilings. -The whole place looked like it could very well be abandoned. Rust leaking from everywhere, everything in disrepair from the paint on the walls to the concrete stairs leading up to the waterslides. Some showers don’t work, bathroom locks don’t work, the lockers could be pulled open by an 8 year old. Even the steam sauna is ruined, it’s less steamy than a middle school hallway. Little summary: Atmosphere is ruined by the obvious and widespread disrepair of the place. I don’t know where their money has gone if not to maintaining the facility but no matter. It was nice to go there again and see the place once more but I don’t think I’ll go again in a long time. It’s not a case of me remembering the place in a better light than it really is. Everything there has just been worn down and left as it is.

Overall, our stay was better than I expected based on the reviews I had read beforehand, but I still wouldn't stay here again. We stayed on the villa side, which meant the room was quiet and the bathroom and shower were modern and in good condition. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was absolutely unacceptable. It squeaked with every movement, the springs could be felt throughout the mattress, and it was not even made up when we arrived at 20:00. We were told this was normal and that guests are expected to make the sofa bed themselves. Because we had to prepare the bed ourselves, we saw the mattress, which had a large brown stain, as well as the pillows and duvet, all of which looked filthy. It was honestly disgusting. We didn't use the pillows at all and only covered ourselves with a bedsheet because we didn't want to use the bedding provided. In the end, our child slept in the regular bed with their dad, and I spent the night on the edge of the sofa. I really don't understand why they would neglect something so important. The room itself is otherwise perfectly good, but if you can't sleep comfortably, that overshadows everything else. The spa was fine, and the children had a great time. Yes, it is an older facility, but that didn't bother us. We've stayed at newer spas that were much more expensive and actually less clean. Breakfast was decent considering the huge number of families and children they serve every day. The staff were polite and worked hard despite the constant noise and busy atmosphere. This is definitely not a place to come for a relaxing getaway, but it's great for keeping children entertained. In the end, I wouldn't stay here again. Between the very high price for the location, the dirty bedding, the terrible sofa bed, and the late 18:00 check-in, it simply wasn't good value for money. Next time, I would stay in town and just visit the spa for the day so the kids can enjoy it.
