Rantapuisto

Picturesquely located on the Baltic Sea coast, this hotel was built in the 1960s as a conference center by a student of Alvar Aalto for a bank. From our room, we had a magnificent view of the sea through a pine forest. The hotel offers a high standard, the sauna is located right by the sea, and a gym can be used as well. The restaurant also met this standard: We enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet just as much as the Finnish specialties during two evening visits. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside of our ten-day stay was the room service. Only upon request was the room swept, and the sink and toilet were not cleaned even once during our entire stay. We reported the issue at the reception, and they promised to take care of it.

Hotel Rantapuisto offers a really peaceful experience right next to the sea for even large groups and conferences. It is a very suitable place for meetings that wish participants to stay on site all the time, because it offers all the needed amenities and lots of rooms and meeting rooms. Sauna and swimming in the sea will crown the experience! Breakfast is simply excellent, also for vegetarian visitors!
