Great location, we came to the town to visit Moominworld. The facilities were decent, and the atmosphere was great.
The room was a good size but felt a bit outdated. Our double bed didn't have a full-size double mattress topper, so it really felt like two single beds pushed together. The TV only had cable channels, with no option to cast content from your own device. Room cleaning was only provided upon request, which is fine, but we weren't informed about this.
The breakfast was disappointing. There was a large selection, but most of the hot food was poorly prepared. The bacon was leathery, the soft-boiled eggs were overcooked, the coffee was very bitter, and the pancakes were dry. The watermelon and bread selection were nice, though. My wife even preferred a 1 euro muffin from the local supermarket over the hotel breakfast.
The spa and pool area were very good and a lot of fun. We especially appreciated the shared sauna, which allowed us to relax together as a couple.
I would stay here again, but mainly because of the excellent location close to Moominworld.
