BEST WESTERN Hotel Vallonia

We were thrilled with our stay. There was a generally good atmosphere and a relaxed atmosphere with pleasant and service-minded staff. Efficient and friendly reception. Got an ok room, not flashy but fine enough although very, very hot as the sun was just coming in and baking until late. There was a fan in the room which helped the worst. Dinner and breakfast were really good. The bathroom was small with a shower taking up at least half the room. Nice wifi. Good, free parking conditions and shopping opportunities directly opposite.

Parking for cars in the hotel yard. Rooms without air conditioning, so the only way to cool the room in the summer is to keep the windows open, so all the sounds of the traffic disturb a good night's sleep. Rooms with outdated decor. Breakfast opened later than the agreed opening time.

Pleasant hotel and customer service, pretty much everything you need in the rooms. Worked very well as a weekend accommodation; quiet place and plenty of parking spaces. A small minus of an otherwise delicious breakfast, but which, from the point of view of vegetarians, was quite lacking in terms of salty warm foods; even with beans, rösti potatoes or similar additions, you would have had a little more food and variety for different diets. Otherwise really functional and great that it was included directly in the price. The dessert mousse at Sunday breakfast really tasted like fermented fruit, which maybe wasn't intended? Otherwise, the little sweets of Wallonia for breakfast 10+. There was no air conditioning in the rooms and the temperature varied greatly even in adjacent rooms; in the first one, you could sleep with two blankets, and in the second one, it was very hot without a single blanket. A table fan was found in the closet, but it would have been challenging to sleep with its hum. The sounds carried quite well through the walls, but for the most part the goings on in the hotel were peaceful and therefore did not disturb more. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to stay in if necessary. They could use a bit of an update in terms of appearance. I had to screw the safety lock back on the door, it was half loose. A nice hotel weekend was possible thanks to Wallonia. The price-quality ratio is quite good, especially with the breakfast-dinner combo, and in terms of service, everything worked. :)
