Vvf Villages Parent

We spent an excellent week as a family, the village is located in a nice area with a stunning view of Montpeyroux and the Puy de Dôme, a shaded parking lot for vehicles, and a great welcome upon our arrival, a heated pool available, and many activities available managed by the entertainment staff, a great guide for the daily hikes, a top-notch director nicknamed "Passe-Partout," which means he is everywhere (reception, restaurant service, in the kitchen, at the entertainment, and always available for the guests and passionate about his job), not to mention the whole team. The catering is hearty and excellent with only local products, the dining and show room is air-conditioned, a nice plus during this heatwave. The weak point is the apartments are quite worn but complicated to ventilate in this temperature. Thanks again to Fred's whole team for these moments shared at the VVF.

We had an extra week at the VVF in Parent. Admittedly, the accommodations are a bit dated and deserve renovation (they are nevertheless very clean), but the activities offered, varied and in quantity, make up for it all. The entertainment team is great, led by a passionate director who is very present and knows how to do everything! A hike offered every day, a real plus when you like to walk. The heated outdoor pool is very spacious and pleasant Very pretty view of the village of Montpeyroux. Plated meal service; sometimes the portions served were a bit "skimpy" depending on the person's size. The dishes offered are very good, with Auvergne specialties and local products. In short, we had a great stay!!! Thanks to the entire VVF team!

Well-located center. Adequate accommodation. Cool activities (off-season) Bar service: do not arrive 5 minutes before closing or you will be deprived of coffee. If you are looking for someone at the reception, do not hesitate to look behind the counter to find the sign with the button to ring. And if you do not take sweet desserts because you are diabetic: only yogurts are available... the real Auvergne cheese is reserved for planned meals. For picnics, if you arrive too late... no more salad... cans of mixed vegetables as a replacement. A friendly and dynamic team but who forget a bit that the services are included in the stay. Okay, it is hard to manage a center but still... a little listening... it doesn't cost more
