Little Palace

Great location and courtesy, we probably happened in the unfortunate room, spaces inside the terms, blind bathroom without aspiration and patched, climate without split and dirty, we still slept well, unbeatable price if you settle for little

Nice affordable stay for 1 day, just across the train station and 15 min walk to the beach and Cannes city centre. Room had a funny smell and no minibar, luckily the guy at the reception was so nice to let me have my Saint Tropez beignets in their staff fridge for the night.

BAD EXPERIENCE! We booked for 3 nights at the Little Palace Hotel, in Cannes, but unfortunately this choice turned out to be a nightmare that ruined the whole holiday. We arrived on the first day around 4 pm, checked in, got some rest and then immediately went out, and then went back to sleep in the evening. The first night it seemed everything was okay, the room was not spotless but we still did not expect anything of what happened. The problem, in fact, came up on the second night when we first saw an insect on the pillow, which later turned out to be a BEDBUG. Still unaware of what it was, being very late, we killed him and went back to sleep. The next morning, however, we found two more of these insects and, as soon as we went down to reception, we communicated everything to the lady who was there. We were told that they would inspect the room, that they would change the sheets and clean everything, but they did not. Back at about 10 pm at the hotel, in fact, we found that nothing had changed, the sheets were dirty and the bed bugs were all still there (see photos and videos!). We immediately came down to talk to someone and being already late, we had to call an emergency number. The same lady we spoke to in the morning answered us and, instead of apologizing and finding a solution, she immediately denied it. She came, along with her sister and then her husband, to inspect the room and, instead of being sincere and mortified about the disgust and discomfort we were experiencing, she well thought to blame us by telling us that we had brought the bugs from outside. ASSURDO! And moreover, she contradicted herself: first she accused us of having infested the room specifically (note that the bugs become adults after 6-8 weeks and therefore it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to have brought them from outside, given the number of them in the room), then she proposed to go to another room (first you think we infest you and then you propose to infest you elsewhere? nice consistency!). We refused because that place was no longer safe and the treatment they were giving us was nothing short of shabby, so we asked for a refund, which was never given to us, even later by contacting customer booking support. Late at night, therefore, we had to leave the room, having nowhere to sleep and having to spend additional money to find one. All at our expense! And that's not all, once we continued the holiday to Nice, where we had already booked an apartment, we had to wash everything in the washing machine at more than 60 degrees and put the rest of the things in the freezer, thus losing a day behind this problem and creating a lot of stress. I don't wish this on anyone! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL, other than dirt, zero amenities, zero kindness and politeness! gross.
