Hotel Splendid

We stayed as a family at the Le Splendide hotel. Overall, we had a fairly decent stay, even if some aspects deserve to be reviewed. What we particularly liked: The unbeatable location: It is the absolute strong point of the hotel! We were right next to the Croisette, the port, and surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and shops. Ideal for doing everything on foot as a family. The warm welcome: The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. What we liked less: The comfort of the rooms: The rooms look a bit dated and could really use a refresh. Technical details: During our stay, the air conditioning was only half-working and the coffee machine in the room was broken. For the standard of the location, one expects functional amenities. No parking either

Historic hotel in a stunning central location in Cannes, but in need of renovation as soon as possible. Small rooms (the standard ones) with really tiny beds. Outdated reception. Good breakfast with a nice terrace view. Convenient parking nearby (but naturally very expensive).

Excellent hotel. Very central near shops and the beach - ideal location. Lovely, friendly, professional reception staff and cleaning ladies. Smallish room but comfortable and well worth paying for the balcony which overlooked the port and square and where I had breakfast every day (beware seagulls :). The hotel was clean, quiet, relaxed, well equipped ( I liked the little washing line in the bathroom), comfortable bed and felt like a home-from-home. I would most definitely recommend and go back
