Terrible place. The staff deceived us (too long of a story to describe in a post) to get us to stay in the hotel. The room was tiny and with very weak AC, which the cleaning staff regularly turned off. The service was extremely poor. Avoid at all cost.

We came to Grasse because of my wife's interest in perfume and fragrances, and we wanted somewhere centrally placed. Hotel le Patti ticked our boxes for location, being near the bus station (gare routiere). Conveniently for us they offered a three night room and breakfast package.
On arrival we were given our room key and went to our room to find the door open, the bed not made, and the room not cleaned or prepared in any way. The receptionist, to his credit, very quickly found us the identical room on the next floor above, but without apology.
The rooms were basic, in that they had minimal furniture, minimal space to move around and a cheap curtain. The balcony overlooked a relatively quiet space and an ugly multi-storey car park. Distant views more scenic. Monoprix supermarket and general store is across the road.
Breakfast was the usual 'continental' buffet with no hot food, but in a pleasant restaurant space and enough to satisfy our appetites. No variation from day to day, except that one day there were boiled eggs.
I got the impression that the hotel was run with minimal staff, and the main business is the restaurant. Staff were always busy, and not particularly interested in hotel guests.
Here's a tip if you arrive at the bus station: the hotel is below you. First visit the Tourist Information, very helpful, English spoken, nice displays and lots of leaflets and maps. Come out of the Tourist Information and look for the ramp down to the car park. Go down ramp and look for the lift to take you to the ground level. Keep going right into the street and you will be at the hotel. Alternatively you can find lots of steps going down six levels, next to the ramp.

We were on our return from a holiday flying back into Nice. Bad weather was forecast so we decided to stop over at Grasse having been there many years ago. As we progressed the weather deteriorated rapidly, heavy snow. The first hotel we came to was the Hotel le Patti. A room was available as was parking in the municipal parking next door so we decided not to look any further as the snow was now about 15cms deep and getting worse. Booking in was easy, the staff being pleasant and helpful. Entering the lift was like walking into a refridgerator. The corridor leading to our room was no better. We were beginning to be a little concerned. However the electric heater in our room was already on low so less cold but soon heated the room once turned up. The room was relatively small, adequate and clean but shabby and, like the bathroom, in need of re-decorating and modernising. Breakfast we decided to give a miss at €12 for a basic continental. Definately not a true 3 star hotel and not good value at over €100 a night but, with limited accommodation in Grasse, they can get away with it. We were just pleased to get a decent nights sleep and not to have to worry about the weather. The parking would be expensive if you stayed for any length of time. We arrived about 4pm and left at 9:30 and it cost over €11. The attached restaurant was not cheap but the food was excellent and memorable. Some comments have been made about the location being at the top of Grasse, it is not, it's only a minutes walk to the town centre.
