Atlantis Hotel

Hotel bedroom window was broken and held together with sellotape. The room had a very strong smell of sewage. We discovered that it was coming from the shower! The toilet didn’t flush and faeces flooded the shower. No manager on site and we emailed them to complain (they told us to contact the manager by email as he was not available, even though we were told he’d be there the next day). Nearly a month later they have refused to respond to us! They admitted that they knew about the plumbing situation and that faeces frequently comes up in the shower but still put us in that room. Horrid!

I'm sorry to write this review as the two strong points of this property are certainly the convenience from the station and the center of Cannes (full centre)... but since I'm used to seeing the reviews before going anywhere I want to do it for those who use Tripadvisor like me.. I have to say that before leaving I had read both positive and negative reviews but the majority were quite positive and so we booked.. probably my friend and I were terribly unlucky but I have to give a 1 to this facility.. the friendly staff had nothing to say...but the cleanliness really left a lot to be desired...in a week the bed was never made and the towels changed twice even though we put them in the shower on the floor to change them...but they were simply pulled up and hung up ..the bathroom was never cleaned!!! You could see it from the splashes on the mirror and from the bar of soap left in the sink for a week .. leaking air conditioner, with two pieces of tape for the leak, and despite the warning at the reception they limited themselves to giving us a breakfast cup which was enough for half an hour, after which we put the bucket of rum for the leak. .this three days before departure ..the day after no one deigned to ask us how things were going and so on until the departure with a bucket, sheets to be changed and towels changed I repeat only once in a week ..non-existent wifi ..to connect we had to stop outside the hotel and then go up to the room...I repeat, I'm sorry because apart from the lack of attention to the stay, the staff is very kind, but I have to advise against this hotel because it is really in almost terrible conditions in terms of cleanliness and services. .even one morning the cleaning lady, seeing us leave the room, asked me if she had had to clean the room that day...but what a question is that...obviously!!! But the result was the same... just the sheet pulled up and I didn't even pass a rag in the sink!

Old fashioned Hotel and Management. I feel cold in the room during my Stay as never before in a Hotel and even worst was the low temperature at the Bathroom. no Shampoo at the shower, no Toiltet paper my first night ... and when I asked the Claim Sheets they told me: "we don t have Sir". Dirty, Poor and low cost renewal. All this for 240 euros per two nights, two much.
