Hotel Garoupe Gardiole

We are back from 6 days on some of the best surprise cake we have been on. Quiet, very comfortable, incredibly well-kept. Very helpful service. The rooms may have been small, but worked top when we got in place. Good beds and good cleaning. Breakfast was great. Lovely pool area. Here we come again!

Warm welcome; they give you all the advice to visit Cape Town. The rooms have been renovated and are very pleasant. Parking is easy on the street and is free. The pool is not heated, so in May its use depends heavily on the weather. For a walker, the hotel is ideally located. Without moving the car, access to old Antibes on foot by passing the Garoupe lighthouse and the Salis beach. Quick access to Garoupe beach and a tour of the Cap via the coastal path. In both cases, access is possible to both sides of the Cap and to Juan-les-Pins. I do not give five stars because the prices of drinks at the hotel bar are excessive. €9 for a glass of rosé ...

We stayed a week in the apartments at this hotel. Before we checked in, we were met by Caroline's benevolent girl, told and showed. We were given access to the hotel grounds and all facilities, including the swimming pool. From the pros I want to mention location and parking, there are always available spaces. A 10-minute walk to the supermarket, a nearby pharmacy, a vegetable shop and a restaurant. From the downside: 1. The apartment does not match the photos on the Airbnb website. The quality of repairs and furniture is terrible, everything needs repair. 2. Very noisy from passing cars under the windows. 3. Everything was dirty. 4. The apartments are small, there is nowhere to put things, in the "cabinet" on the ground floor in the bedroom only 3 hangers. We lived together, so we kept everything on the second floor. 5. Shared washer/dryer on the ground floor in the street. 6. The front door doesn't protect against noise, you can hear any movement of the neighbors. 7. Horrible little ironing board, husband ironing trousers for an hour. Accommodation in apartments is not recommended.
