Hotel La Lune de Mougins

So, first impression ideal; I found the place magical, despite the rather unpleasant lady at the reception, but we went to the spa while waiting for the room to be available, and frankly, it was very pleasant. Then we went to discover our room at the back of the hotel; we could hear the little birds in the pines, really charming. We spent the evening elsewhere, so nothing to say; peaceful night, good bedding, then came breakfast. Since we returned late, we arrived around 9:30 in a room where chaos reigned, not a single available space, all the tables cluttered, and an old gentleman running around to restock the various stations, to the point that when my husband or I tried to get his attention, he didn't even hear us, as he did not respond. A customer told us: "Poor guy, he is overwhelmed; he is all alone." So, we cleared a table, I washed 2 cups, and we settled down, as best as we could; I even found a tray with mini vases containing roses and placed one on my table, and we were able to have our breakfast, with a wooden stirrer as a small spoon; I mention this because there were no more spoons, and I did not want to go wash 2. The fruit juice would have been good, but it was warm, so it was useless. But the worst of all was arriving at the reception where I found the lady from check-in who responded to me in a terse manner when I recounted my misadventure: "But you didn't miss anything essential, did you?" I replied to her: "Yes, the essentials, the welcome, and the service." At that moment, the old gentleman arrived, apologizing for his inappropriate behavior, to whom I said that he was not responsible, that it was the establishment that should have addressed such disorganization and come to his aid as early as 7 AM when he found himself alone bearing such a burden. But the lady at the reception remained impassive, and not a hint of an apology came from her mouth. In the end, it should have been an extraordinary weekend, and the final image tarnished everything else. And I haven't even mentioned the worn-out sunbed mattresses that should be replaced or the broken gate we discovered when leaving through the other back entrance.

Very attentive and pleasant reception. Excellent meals Room and sleep quality were top-notch. The breakfast and lunch buffet was very well stocked, even until the last moment. Excellent service. Ultra pleasant spa, everything is well thought out. A weekend we will not forget! Looking forward to returning and enjoying just as much!
