Inter Hotel les Strelitzias

The hotel is well located, not too far from the sea, but we had the bad luck of having rooms on the first floor facing the street, with in addition the housekeeping room across from our doors (rooms 16 and 17). Result, very little sleep, waking up very early with the staff and the cars that passed under our windows at night and early in the morning. Furthermore, in room 17, and despite our complaints, the Wi-Fi did not work. Moreover, there is no pool which is a shame in an establishment of this standing. And finally, the parking is very good but it is annoying to have to call the hotel reception on the phone to enter and to exit... Finally, having to pay daily fees for a toy Yorkshire terrier surprised us; in general, it's free. The breakfast is decent, and the restaurant terrace is very pleasant.

Very well-maintained hotel, spacious room, decent breakfast; the only downside is the citrus juicer, which is not suitable for use when there are a large number of people.

Cleanliness and staff friendliness are the strong points of this property. For the rest, I frankly found it a bit expensive for what it offers: the rooms are old, the breakfast is always damnably the same and limited every day, and the restaurant is too inconsistent: sometimes you eat "well" (for being in France, that is), other times I was really negatively impressed by the dishes, I almost felt cheated by the cost of the half-board. For the rest, it is a French coast hotel like many others, with paid underground parking, the sea nearby, supermarkets a stone's throw away, but it has a side street that is very noisy at night (although I had chosen this hotel precisely because it did not face the main streets of JLP) and the target clientele is 75-85 years old...
