This hotel offers poor value for money; it doesn’t measure up even when compared to other Pullman Hotels. The location is excellent—everything in the area is within easy reach, and the waterfront really enhances the stay—but the hotel itself didn’t have much to offer. The rooms are comfortable, but the furniture is worn, and the hallway is in need of renovation. The display on one of the elevators was broken. Yes, they do inform guests about the price of the sun loungers, but regardless, they’re very expensive—the room rate really should include them. Breakfast isn't bad, but it's pretty monotonous; we really missed having fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, every morning we came across a few dirty plates or glasses, which wouldn't be acceptable even at a low-end bed-and-breakfast. Dinner was absolutely excellent; the problem here was more with the staff. It took a long time just to be seated—I’ve never experienced anything like this before: upon arrival, when we said hello, the waiter made eye contact with us, then turned on his heel and left us there. Most of the waiters worked without a smile or any enthusiasm; they barely spoke English, and it was obvious they found it unpleasant to attend to guests, so dinner took an interminably long time—even though there were very few guests each evening. It’s a shame, because every dish was delicious. We went out to the nearby Irish pub several times in the evenings, where we were always greeted warmly and with a smile, so paying for half-board was a real waste of money. Overall, we had a good time, but that was mostly because of the wonderful surroundings; next time, we'd choose a different hotel.

Deplorable restaurant reception; we waited 20 minutes in a temperature of about 38 degrees... for someone to offer us a drink, even though there were more servers than customers. When we were finally able to order drinks, we wanted to order our meal as well. The server refused and came back 15 minutes later because he was clearing tables. The restaurant was almost empty. No recommendations on the menu, no smile, and no sign of friendliness. On the other hand, the private beach side had no issues; service was fast and welcoming.
