HI Hotel Eco Spa And Beach

Our experience with Spity hotel was short, yet very negative. We have booked our room for 12-16.6.2018 via booking website, and received the hotel confirmation at the 13.12.2017. Three weeks prior to the vacation dates, we emailed the hotel questions about possible shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back. The reply came only a ten days later: "Hello Madam, You will receive from Booking.com assistance a relocation hotel. Our hotel will stay closed until Marche 2019. We hope to see you new year. Best regards, Front desk " This reply came at the 28.5.2018 - two weeks only! before our flight. Needless to say, this was outraging! The hotel remembered to cancel us only after we contacted them, and too late to find a proper alternatives which included what we wanted in a fair price. We couldnt find a hotel close enough to the beach within a reasonable price that also included a pool, which we wanted in case of a bad weather. We had to settle for a rental apartment which was even more expensive than the hotel was (because of the short notice). Now, a day before our flight we see the weather forecast is indeed indicating there is going to be a bad weather. We didnt receive any apology, or compensation offer for the extremely late notice. Surely the hotel management knew about the hotel being closed long before we contacted them. This delay has caused us to spend much more money than we planned and miss key features we wanted included in our vacation. Very poor communication, Unreliable customer service, lack of responsiblity towards the customer and lack of willingless to compensate this mistake.

very noisy, my room was durty,this hotel is out dated with no charm, terrible service,no insulation beetwen rooms and noise coming from the street, this hotel is far from being a stated 4 stars it is not even a 2 stars from my standard point of view the beach restaurant was not any better

We stayed for 2 nights in mid October and given that we had read some pretty average reviews were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.The hotel is very modern and in our opinion 'quirky' but if you like bright and vibrant decor then this is for you. Our room was great, had a balcony overlooking the small courtyard - very pleasant sitting out listening to the piped music from below!! The room was spotlessly clean, hi-tec shutter blinds kept out the morning sun which helped for a long and restful sleep! The hotel is ideally situated for the beach, promenade, railway station and a 15 to 20 minute walk takes you right into the old town where there is a vast array of fine bars and restaurants to pick from. Finally we would like to say a huge thank you to Sandrine who greeted us on arrival with a lovely smile and was also available to chat to us and give us personal advice on restaurants etc throughout our short stay. Nothing was too much trouble! Great Place!
