Room not very large. No breakfast. Fortunately, a bakery is on the corner of the building. No catering. Noise during the day due to work on the ground floor of the building. No one at the front desk in the morning. Close to the sea and the Promenade des Anglais. Sea view. Nearby tram to visit Nice.

In February 2026, the hotel is not at its best! No possibility of food, no breakfast! Work is taking place on the ground floor of the building so from 7:30 we hear the jackhammers! Earplugs are also offered by the hotel. Fortunately, a bakery and hostel are nearby. The rooms are cramped and poorly soundproofed. The tram allows you to move easily but unfortunately you can also hear it at night. Too bad, because the Promenade des Anglais is 2 steps away. Nobody at the front desk in the morning if we need any information. I would not recommend it at this time. What will be the restoration offers when the work is completed?

My husband and I are currently staying here for two nights. Not happy at all for several reasons. Firstly, we checked in yesterday and took the lift (which was then working) up to our room on the 4th floor. The keypad did not recognise our code and I had to go back downstairs and obtain a key. The main light in the room did not work but maintenance thankfully fixed this. Today, our first full day, the only lift is out of order. This is concerning me greatly as we have two very heavy suitcases and other hand luggage ready for a cruise departing tomorrow. My husband is 78, had a stroke previously, and I have a bad back. I just do not know how we are going to manage tomorrow. Someone has meanwhile replaced the non functioning keypad on our door. The housekeeping has not materialised. Now 1.30 pm. I just walked down the four flights of stairs to get coffees from the machine in reception but this is not working either. So another walk up four flights of stairs for nothing. Hotel was not cheap. I am a Platinum Elite member with Marriott and have never experienced such shoddy accommodation from Marriott.
