This hotel is not as described on the Laterooms site. The location their map is also wrong. The hotel overlooks (literally meters) the busy train line that runs into main station where the trains are screeching to a holt. It is run down and tired, doors off hinges etc. Do not stay.

A lady owner met us on arrival, she was very welcoming & showed us to our room. We had a double room with a bed, wardrobe, small table & chairs for two, desk & bedside table/lamp, en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower. Clean bed linen with an extra blanket provided & 2 bath sized towels + floor mat. No kettle or TV. Owner gave us the room key, main entrance code & 2nd floor door access code from then on we did not see the owner again until we left. Our room was on the 2nd floor but the house has a lift big enough for 2 people + suitcases or stairs. The room overlooked a side street but was still light & well aired. You can hear some road noises, Tram bell & passing main line trains but after a busy day we had no trouble sleeping. The room has a perfect central location, you can walk as everything is level, catch Tram almost outside or Train Station about a 3 min walk. The room was perfect for our base - we stayed for 1 week.

we spend 2 days at nice . it is ok for a short vacation and for who want to just spend the night in the hotel .. pro 1. near to everything 2. economic 3. clean when you arrive to the room contro 1. it seems as a house and has been transformed to hotel ;) 2. you see the owner just in check in and then you live as if it is your house so if you have some problems or question you will not find them 3. they dont clean the room as the other hotels after all .. it is nice for economical vacation
