Relais D'Acropolis

Im not sure where to start so I thought id number it for ease.. 1. It smells so bad. The bathroom smells like a public toilet. 2. Its dirty. The floor, walls and doors are dirty. We had boogies on the bathroom door. 3. Fleas. We were bitten several times and saw them jumping on the bed. 4. No kettle, drinks or fridge in the room. 5. Noise. It is very noisy with doors banging all night and traffic outside. 6. The beds are rock hard and make it very difficult to sleep. 7. The man on reception is awful but the lady is very nice. Its like roulette who you get. Im really surprised this is part of the @easyjet holiday package and certainly not 3 star. On the plus side its close to a tram stop so you can get out of here.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the common areas of the hotel are clean and modern. The rooms though are quite dated and smell musty - the room I stayed in definately did not look like the official pictures! Be careful of using the shower as it soaked the whole floor so anything I put on it (such as clean clothes) got drenched. The room lacked some basic amenities e.g. there was no fridge or kettle. The area was nice during the day and it is is close to a park and tram stop but its well outside the old town and was very quiet to walk though at night (which didn't feel entirely safe). Also would suggest that you don't stay at the hotel if you have mobility issues because there is a step to get into it and whilst there is a lift, the lift stops inbetween floors which means there is a flight of stairs to go up or down to get to your room.

We just arrived and are incredibly disappointed. When I booked the hotel I read reviews that described it as lovely and clean. It is neither. Our room is simply horrible. Stains on the carpet, scuffed walls and furniture, so cramped we had to put luggage on the bed to open it, air co ditioner that barely works, a lobby that is anything but welcoming, and dingy hallways. I wish we could cancel the rest of our nights and find a different place but I’m afraid it will be super difficult last minute. I am attending a conference and am embarrassed to tell anyone where I am staying lest they offer to meet me here.
