This was such a disappointing and costly experience. We are both in our 80's and were traveling from Florida to Nice to attend a family wedding. We had searched different properties online. The photos of the views and amenities on their website were very appealing. This is actually what we received: (please look at the proof in the photos.) - Our room was tucked away in the corner of the property. - Our room reminded us of a tool shed to which beds were added. - There was no window in our room. The only light came from the door glass. - No mini-fridge - no microwave - cracked tiles in the room - Absolutely NO VIEW. Any view was blocked by a bush outside our door. - "Danger tape" covering broken tiles on the patio - Dirty ashtrays on the patio tables. - Down three flights of steep stairways before encountering our room. - Although we were only two persons in this room, the management arbitrarily put us in a "triple" room and charged us for the increased cost. - No shampoo, no soap, no amenities in the bathroom. - You see no lamps, only bare light bulbs on the tables and wall. - Once we had the chance to evaluate this lodging we made the decision this was not the hotel room we would have rented. This was a room that was grossly misrepresented on their website; we opted to move to another property. As a result, this hotel owner billed us for two nights claiming we did not give them the required cancellation time frame. It cost us $550.00 USD. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away.

The hotel enjoys a truly unique location, with spectacular views of the Bay of Villefranche, and the owners were friendly and helpful during their stay. However, I must say that the room does not reflect the expectations of a hotel: the decor and setting are very basic for a real hotel room, with the smell of moisture. Another weakness is the Price quality ratio: the cost is quite high for the type of structure. I understand that the prices are in line with those of the area, but it still remains an aspect that affects the overall experience. In summary: a pleasant stay for the panoramic view and courtesy of the managers, but with rooms and rates that do not fully justify expectations.

Have a nice stay at the hotel the pirate's fiancée! Nice stay, very nice view and excellent proximity to take the ferry. Room with garden view well, although slightly aging furniture, swimming pool very well, breakfast at the top in buffet form, be careful hot drinks are not included in the rate.
