Hotel de la Capelle

We give a big 5 stars. The picture just adds up. Nice hotel right in the center. Numerous nice restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly staff who gave us great tips for dinner. Parking in a nearby parking garage for a special price. Nice room with a good bed, lovely shower and air conditioning. The well-kept breakfast with freshly prepared scrambled eggs completes it. Recommended for a stopover on the way south (in our case Spain).

Very comfortable stopover night for a reasonable budget. Well-air-conditioned room upon arrival. Very welcoming and friendly staff and manager. Carefully prepared and hearty breakfast. Underground parking just a few minutes' walk away, but drop-off available if needed. Advantageous parking rate to reserve online (€31 for 6 days/hiking loop).

I came here by motorcycle, which I could park perfectly right in front of the hotel. I take this tour 1-2 times a year and will add this hotel to my top list. The location right in the center is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and they can speak English – which is not a given even in 5-star hotels in France. Only the breakfast is rather mediocre, but that applies to almost all hotels in France. The croissants and the baguette are delicious – this is actually true everywhere in France.
