Hotel Le Grillon

Decent hotel, very close to the train station. The reception and breakfast staff are competent. The breakfast buffet is very complete. Good address.

I was not a guest of the hotel, that is why this review is so special. For those who value places that care, this should be noted. I was victim of a pickpocket as I boarded a train to Germany. As usual, after taking the credit/debit cards and cash, my wallet was dumped. Someone found it in front of this hotel and turned it into the desk. My driver's license and German residence card were still inside. Though I was not a guest they took it upon themselves to mail it to my home in Germany. The next time I'm in Strasbourg, Hotel l'Grillon will be the first I check for a reservation.

3-star hotel, just. With excellent location, a quarter and a half from the station, very close to the main attractions. Super clean room and bathroom, electric kettle, tea and coffee. It has a nice little bar. Despite being in a busy street, the apartment is quiet. Careful staff, especially the head of reception Isabella and dear Pierri. About breakfast, I can't rate, as we didn't have coffee at the hotel. But they have two types of buffet and continental coffee. I loved it!
