Le Cottage Hotel

Location is good, plenty of parking too. Access via code on the door worked well. Reception available until 12.00. Bathroom smelled terrible of sewer, After a long flush it was somewhat doable. Very cramped, dusty and small but basic. Beds not very good

We stayed Two nights for family funeral otherwise I would have left immediately after arrival! The worst place I have ever stayed . Would give zero stars if I could. Would not stay again even if you paid me.

Our room was clean but small. The bathroom was really small and there wasn't much space for getting out of the shower. WiFi was free but didn't work in our room - even though we were close to the reception area; it only worked in the reception/bar/restaurant areas. The staff were all pleasant and spoke good English. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and at a reasonable price. As we were only staying one night before our ferry home the next morning we didn't worry too much about the problems mentioned above.All in all, the price is reasonable and there is an on-sight restaurant and bar, which we were happy about after a long car journey through France to Calais.
