We had a plat du jour with two persons, one gluten-free. The service and ambiance was excellent. The two dishes with turkey were well prepared and tasteful. Overall I would like to recommend this restaurant.

What a terrible experience. The waitresses were fantastic, but the male waiter made a complete spectacle of it. After the table tipped over, we got a huge fluorescent light box in our face. I kindly asked if the light could be a bit more atmospheric or turned off. His solution: then turn on all the lights in the restaurant, because otherwise he couldn't see anything else. Away atmosphere, away dinner. When I said I didn't want anything more, free beer/wine was suddenly offered to appease me. That was absolutely not what I was concerned about. I just wanted to be able to properly say that fluorescent lighting during a dinner is not exactly hospitable. Tried to discuss the situation at the bar, but the waiter then started speaking French with his boss, while I don't speak French. No conversation, no understanding, no customer focus whatsoever. Strikingly: the boss was indeed in a atmospherically lit area. A hotel where hospitality and customer focus are clearly lacking. A very disappointing experience. Then I will report this situation to the bar. The man (above) then starts in French to his boss, however, I don't speak French. So I let the whole situation be as it was. Unpleasant staff and totally not open or available for a customer who is not looking for a free drink, but just a conversation focused on what is decent, and that is not a TL light during dinner. The Boss himself was in a pleasant lit ambiance. What a terrible hotel and staff.
