Ibis Arles

There are no small savings for Ibis. No more soap in the bathroom sink. No tissues. Petty.

Let's start with the room, so we had booked two nights and we found ourselves with two different prices that is a price for the first night and another for the second. When we asked at the reception the reason the answer was: "I don't do the prices but I will inquire" which obviously did not happen, but this was obvious. We had asked for two separate beds but they gave us two beds attached and that is a double, but this is the least, let's talk about the bathroom: the sink lacks soap, just there is no dispenser and lacks an electrical outlet, there is a tub (little clean) with the possibility of shower where there is the only soap dispenser. The tub, like all the tubs has a height that to climb over it to take a shower an elderly person risks the femur because there is no possibility of support. There are only two towels that are not too big, but then again the French don't use the bidet so... Finally the door handle was broken and from the outside it was difficult to get in, but they asked us if we wanted to change rooms. The breakfast I must say was good.

Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. One towel per person. No hand towel or face cloths. No Kleenex, no toiletries, a small piece of soap in the bathroom, no extra blanket and electrical plugs were a nightmare! I literally had to crawl on the floor and plug my CPAP machine underneath a small shelf attached to the wall beside the bed! The blow dryer was awful - it barely blew air. The TV in the room did not work. Beds were semi-comfortable. No fridge or coffee maker in the room. Pool was nice but it could have used a vacuum. Be aware - no pool towels, so bring your own. Free Parking on site. Breakfast was very good.
