Residhome Saint-Charles

I couldn't find another hotel for my budget.

Hotel in a great location. a few minutes walk from the center, it is in a quiet area with several services open until late. Decently spacious and clean rooms. Great value for money. the area unfortunately is a bit noisy but otherwise I recommend it.

This hotel is a little bit different because it is suitable for people staying one night or a bit longer. The rooms are very well equipped and have a small kitchen area with microwave, hot plate and even a little dishwasher! Pans and crockery are provided too. There is a 24 reception desk and a nice simple breakfast buffet. The location is very good and just a few minutes from Marseille St Charles train station (when arriving look for the office that gives transport assistance and opposite it you will see a lift which takes you down directly onto Rue Charles Nédélec). It’s not a luxury hotel but it is very good value for money, very well equipped and also clean. In the room, cleaning is done once a week but if you want it done daily you can request it and pay extra. This seems a good solution especially as so many hotels change the towels daily even if asked not too. We bought local wine and were even able to borrow a corkscrew from reception.
