Residence Les Sources

The residence is good value for the money. The Apartments are located in a beautiful garden with a pool and tastefully decorated and very clean and well kept. Peter is a warm and wonderful host always keen to provide great advice. Some people have complained that the residence is located in the industrial area. True but keep in mind that this is St Rémy de Provence not New York city and so this didn't bother me personally despite not having a car as the charming city center and beautiful countryside is just 10 minutes away on foot, the area is very quiet with the advantage of a having a supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, etc nearby.

We stayed for 12 nights in September 2019, using St Remy as a base for exploring the region. We had a self catering 1 bedroom apartment (No.4) which was perfect for what we needed. It was spacious, clean, quiet and well equipped, nestled in a well maintained and picturesque garden setting. The pool was a welcome relief at the end of the hot days. It is handy to supermarkets and eateries and only an easy 10-minute stroll into the centre of town. But what really made our stay enjoyable was the multi-lingual host, Peter. He was a friendly, knowledgeable host who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, giving us tips on where to go and the best places to park our car. After several weeks of not having toast for breakfast, my wife was overjoyed when Peter offered her his own toaster. He also loaned us his iron and ironing board. We would definitely stay again.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with a fully functional kitchen that suited our needs perfectly. Unfortunately the weather wasn't conducive to swimming in the very appealing on-site pool. The accommodation was conveniently located to explore many lovely cities, towns and villages in this part of Provence.
