Du Forum

We enjoyed three nights at Hotel du Forum and loved its convenient location and amenities. It was within easy walking of virtually all the main attractions in Arles. We especially chose to stay in the Picasso Room #2 (where Pablo Picasso had stayed) and enjoyed the view overlooking the square and directly across from the Yellow Cafe de Nuit which Van Gogh had painted. Such a thrill for an art lover like me! The Picasso room was enormous by European standards, with a large closet, full dresser, desk and very large bathroom with a good shower. The room was air-conditioned and the hotel elevator was very convenient. There was a very nice pool outside and billiards table inside. The breakfast buffet was just ok, with two options (I opted for the cheaper croissant, juice and coffee combo). We enjoyed eating at the convenient L'Apostrophe restaurant on the square.

This was our 8th visit to Hotel Du Forum and it never disappoints. I'm writing this in particular to highlight the service staff. Always working hard and doing a great job of taking care of all the guests, and always with kindness and a smile. The city of Arles has changed a lot in the past 8 years and a lot of it is getting gentrified. I hope this hotel will be able to stay family owned and operated. It's the people, the warmth and quality of service that keep us coming back and they manage to do it at a great value, Especially considering it is right at the center of the city. We'll be back again soon and thank you.

Magnificent room and ideally located hotel. The pool is a big plus!
