Lovely old world hotel, smallish room with charachter, nice modern bathroom, but without a lift. Right in the centre of the old town, but this makes getting there difficult. We made the mistake of getting an Uber from the station, so we got dumped at the barrier with our luggage in 34 degree heat. Nice breakfast ( but what on earth is the cutting up the bacon into tiny pieces about???). No lift, no pool, no parking, some restaurants close by but no bars locally open in the evening.

A very nice place that we have had the pleasure of visiting for several years in a row for the Rencontres d'Arles, appreciated for its services and its warm welcome. Unfortunately, the significant increase in rates this year leads us to abandon it, with regret because we had great memories there. It's a shame!

The establishment is located in old Arles where car access is regulated for visitors. I called the hotel to lower the barrier but they did not answer… I struggled for an hour turning in the very narrow streets with my large van. Eventually, I found a way to enter the old town… Once I arrived, they explained to me that the easiest way is to go through the Vauban ascent and call to lower the access barrier… I had the Belvédère room, but I do not recommend it because it is on the top floor and there is no elevator, and also because it has a steep staircase inside. The bathroom is downstairs and the room is upstairs. Not convenient at all. The view is beautiful nonetheless. The rooms of the other members of my group looked comfortable. The small breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise, with excellent pastries. Without the phone issue and with another room, my rating would undoubtedly have been higher.
