Hotel Bel Horizon

Stately environment. Elegant room. Quality Service. On the other hand, if Mr "Eric" knows how to receive the highnesses, the disbelievers we have (and we are proud to be) have been served in a way that I describe as dishonest. An à la carte plate of 28 € is good. But in a nice, big, classic plate (a small hole in the middle), having a few rare grams of risk in the middle is scandalous. I think that consumer associations and the CIRB should take a closer look at the unworthy practices of this little chief who thinks he is a great... But I have something else to do. I hope (and will check) that my opinion will be published. Otherwise, it will be one more item to attach to this file. Vic sur Cère is off our itineraries. Allow me, sir, not to greet you.

The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking on the street at the front of the hotel. The hotel does have a car park but the spaces are very tight and the entrance/exit is very narrow. The owners speak reasonable English and are very friendly. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable although the decor was a little tired. Our room was also exceptionally hot but that was due to the heatwave that we arrived in. The food in the restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced.

We were with a smartbox and the service was not up to what was offered. Very mediocre room with bad mattress and broken hair dryer that hung in the bathroom! when at the meal proposed so-called terroir we were treated to a piece of bacon with burnt potatoes. The local meal with a smartbox is not the one offered on the restaurant menu we were told in an unkind air. To flee....
