We stayed 3 weeks on half board for our cure. The hotelier and his collaborators are at the top, professional, dynamic, attentive, interesting, in short we spent a stay in a very warm atmosphere. Comfortable bed, meal and hearty breakfast. Excellent Value Award. We highly recommend.

Just INADMISSIBLE! Never seen before! Beyond the fact that the photos of the rooms do not really correspond to reality, the most shocking is the behavior of property owner of the premises which is totally inappropriate and disrespectful. The day we arrived, this gentleman had parked his huge van in front of the only window in the room that overlooks an interior parking lot and the wall. Care had to be taken when entering the room with the suitcases since the front of the car obstructed part of the door entrance. In the evening the van was still in place in front of the window and part of the door. We opened the window with the van 30 cm from the window. The air did not enter the room and as the blind was broken (moreover!), it was impossible to close it to have a minimum of darkness, security and privacy. Great in an inner courtyard where there is permanent passage. The next morning my friend very kindly asks the daughter of this gentleman if it would be possible to move the van for the following night. In the meantime, in addition to the broken blind, I sit on the only chair in the room that breaks. In the late morning, this gentleman replaced his van with a huge motorcycle outside our window. And there, he has fun making her scream and puts the gauze to the full just outside our open window. I close the window in front of him but this gentleman continues. It stinks in the room and the noise is unbearable. I open the window and ask him what is going on? Happy, smiling, he said to me “it makes noise, you don’t like the bike?!”. I tell him that no, I don’t necessarily like the bike under my window, that it smells extremely loud in the room, that the noise is unbearable and if he could go elsewhere... This gentleman replies that he doesn’t like people who don’t like the bike and that if it’s like this, we can leave and he doesn’t need people like us. AWESOME!! This is indeed what we did, one night instead of three booked (fortunately not paid in advance). I think this gentleman should keep the inner courtyard of his rotten Inn overlooking the parking lot to make it a real parking lot for his beloved vehicles and especially, change profession. Maybe a mechanic or bouncer on the circuits would suit him perfectly. And leave tourism to professionals and less bitter people. Anyway, I don't recommend this Pension. This gentleman takes advantage of his location (but Rochefort is small so that’s not an argument in this case) and charges slightly lower Awards to be competitive while allowing himself to treat tourists as less than nothing. Just petty and shameful, sir!

Accommodation well placed in Rochefort to visit and walk with especially a very good varied breakfast and with quality products! But fairly average rooms even if they are clean and little soundproofed. It is also very hot!
