2 nights in this hotel. 5 of us in 1 room. Perfectly comfortable and at a good price. We didn't spend much time in the room so it was ideal. The service was great and breakfast simple but plentiful. Would recommend for a large family who don't want to book 2 rooms!

Nice welcome and friendly staff. Although the hotel is charming, the heating did not work in our room, which made our stay a little uncomfortable. Note that there is no heating in the bathroom either (with toilets that still contained visible dirt). We had booked a room for a couple, and what was not our surprise to have only 2 single beds glued and not 1 double bed. Moreover, the walls are extremely thin, we were awakened several times in the night. Travellers to this hotel may be charming, but the places make us hear everything. The charm of the hotel and unfailing but I would not recommend it.

Very well placed hotel in the old town of La Rochelle. Welcome on arrival. Beautiful wooden staircase. We had a larger room than the one we had booked by phone because there were bedbugs to treat in the one we had chosen. The left flap does not hold fast and hits the wall because of the wind. There is no shower hose but just a square shower head in height! Not easy to wash in this small space despite the shower cap that does not hold all my hair long! In the evening to go to dinner, the staircase is not lit enough to see the steps. The welcome at breakfast lacked warmth and the choice of food is poor for the price (14 euros per person). I don't think we're coming back to this establishment.
