Hotel Le Peu Breton

Pleasant hotel with many shaded patios. A beautiful heated pool. Outdoor parking. Buffet breakfast with fresh products. A friendly and available team. Bikes that are a bit old are available for rent at the hotel, which is convenient. We were upgraded to a larger family room.

We chose this hotel on the internet for its location on the island... Perfectly illustrated on the hotel's website, what a pleasant surprise discovering it in person! A heavenly place ...Beautiful pool, a beautiful environment, very cozy flowery corners, staff as welcoming as they are friendly and efficient in all circumstances, restful calm, breakfasts worthy of satisfying the most demanding choices... Freshness is on the menu daily! The staff is attentive to the well-being of the guests, here, nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness throughout the establishment. The pool is heated. The hotel has a sauna, a steam room, and an aesthetic center, with effective treatments provided by a professional. Certainly an excellent address in Sainte Marie de Ré. Thanks to Jean and Didier and all the staff who take such good care of all the vacationers!

Hotel well located a few minutes from the small center of Sainte-Marie. Positive points: Standard double room 21 on the 1st floor street side, very clean but relatively small, 140 cm bed, good bedding. Bathroom renovated but less than 3 m2. Breakfast very good, well-stocked with quality products. Negative points: Room relatively noisy starting at 7 a.m., little traffic but narrow street. Second night disturbed because of 3 untimely phone calls due to an electrical problem known to management. Bike rental: bike no. 10 brake pads rub very hard, both wheels completely warped, advice: do not rent bikes at the hotel (a commercial gesture was made for this bike). No fire alarm seen in the room.
