Be careful. Big scam. We made a reservation through booking for one night in a large double room. Upon our arrival, we encountered a woman with questionable humor and hospitality, overly friendly for my taste, who then showed us our room, which had nothing to do with the reservation. After a few minutes, I realized that this was not the reserved room; of course, the price was 100 euros lower than the reservation. After asking this woman for explanations, she told us a completely absurd story to justify why we ended up in a much smaller room than the one we reserved. So we obviously canceled the initial reservation immediately. The woman had to call her boss, who, by the way, found our car very comfortable because she couldn't help but lean her whole body on the hood of the car. Oh, by the way, thanks for the micro-scratches from your bracelets; she told a bizarre story to justify our cancellation to her boss. Once this step was completed, she gave us the rate for this room, which was much cheaper than the initial reservation. I'll let you guess that she asked us to pay in cash. Then, we took possession of this room, and there!! To our great surprise, she confided that the door of the room does not lock 😆😆😳😳😳😳😳 so we decided to stay anyway. We went out for dinner thinking that this whole story was a farce, and of course, we left the door unlocked. Upon our return from the restaurant, we were surprised to find that the card did not work to open the door. I had to call this lady more than 30 times, and she was peacefully sleeping on the ground floor of the hotel. Without a response after an hour of calling, we resolved to sleep on the sofas in the upstairs lounge. A shame for this lady who has questionable hygiene 🤨 and very particular ways of doing things. At 7 AM the next day, when she woke up, I asked her to open the door so we could retrieve our belongings, and we left. Listen, do not book at this place, really. Check the price carefully and ensure it is the right room upon your arrival. This woman has a lot of nerve. I absolutely do not recommend this place; furthermore, a complaint will be filed on Monday at the La Rochelle police station. Here is our stay in this pathetic hotel. As proof of my words, I am attaching a photo of the sofa on which my wife had to sleep. You will recognize the sofa from the upstairs lounge. Really shameful.

very nice house, trendy decoration, located in the heart of the village, views of the alleys of the Doors in D, quiet. We enjoyed the Welcoming of Ingrid, very attentive and the opportunity to feel "at home" in this house. We have only two points of improvement to report: a ramp is missing from the stairs! it's complicated to go up to your room when you're old and it's dangerous to go down. The sound insulation between the rooms is insufficient.
