We spent four very pleasant days with the family at the Hotel Bartaccia. The property is truly magnificent, very well maintained, with a quiet and exotic environment. We had a car on site, which allowed us to easily discover the surroundings while fully enjoying the hotel upon our return. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the breakfast, and the general setting of the establishment. It is a place where you really feel like you are on vacation, with plenty of space and a very beautiful atmosphere. A very beautiful address in Propriano for a few days in Corsica. We have excellent memories of it as a family.

We stayed as a family at this hotel expecting service on par with a 4-star establishment and the rate paid for our last week of vacation in Corsica. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, to the point that we do not recommend this hotel and we feel that the price-to-quality ratio is very largely disproportionate. A room problem reported even before our arrival, but no action was taken. Before our stay, the hotel had sent us a questionnaire in which we had expressly indicated that we wanted a quiet room. Upon our arrival, however, we were placed right next to the restaurant, which starts its activity as early as 7:30 AM and closes late at night. The room was therefore particularly noisy, both in the morning and in the evening. We asked to change rooms in order to simply be able to enjoy restful nights and mornings. We changed rooms even though the hotel was supposedly full. But for a room that was just as noisy. Under these conditions, one can legitimately wonder what the point of the questionnaire sent before the stay is if the requests made by the guests are not actually taken into account. A particularly noisy hotel Noise was a real problem during our stay. Chairs and furniture being moved in the rooms generate a lot of disturbance in particular. Simple felt pads under the chair legs would, however, allow for these noises to be reduced considerably. More generally, the insulation and management of noise disturbances do not seem to us to be at the level expected of a 4-star hotel. Another particularly unpleasant point: if you forget to put out the do not disturb sign, the housekeeping service starts coming in as early as 9:30 AM, which means that you can be woken up or forced to leave your room while you are still resting. Here again, we expect more flexibility and comfort in an establishment of this caliber. And especially during vacations. The pools: a real disappointment The hotel's two pools did not give us a satisfactory impression of cleanliness. The water was cloudy and a greenish waterline was visible. Even more annoying, this water line stained my swimsuit. This is clearly not what one expects to find in a 4-star hotel. A presentation of the location that is confusing Another major disappointment regarding the beach. The hotel is presented on Booking as being located about 400 meters from the beach. In reality, the closest beach is a private beach belonging to another hotel. The presentation made at the time of booking therefore seems to us to be misleading at the very least, and does not correspond to what one imagines when reading "beach at 400 m". This point deserves to be specified much more clearly in the establishment's description so that future guests can book with full knowledge of the facts. A welcome and management of requests that are not up to par We were especially disappointed by the way our requests were handled at the front desk. We felt like we had to insist to get any attention, with no real follow-up afterward. We are used to staying in hotels of this caliber and we are not looking for special treatment. We simply expect the level of service corresponding to the price paid and the advertised amenities. Unfortunately, during this stay, we did not feel truly welcomed or considered as guests, but rather as people who are answered without any real attempt to resolve the reported problems. In conclusion This hotel certainly has its assets, but in our opinion, they do not make up for the numerous malfunctions encountered during our stay. Between the noise, the poorly located room despite a request made before arrival, the lack of follow-up from the front desk, the pools whose cleanliness seemed insufficient to us, the information regarding the beach, and a level of service that does not seem to us to correspond to a 4-star hotel, the overall experience is very disappointing. The most regrettable part remains the value for money: given the rate charged, we expected significantly better. We are sharing this review primarily so that future travelers can book with full knowledge of the facts. If you are looking for a quiet stay, attentive service, and an experience truly worthy of a 4-star hotel, we advise you to think carefully before choosing this establishment.

Hotel located in a quiet area in a natural setting at the foot of the scrubland. Spacious, comfortable, and very clean rooms, and very pleasant terraces. Excellent restaurant and impeccable service. Special mention to Matthieu and Matthieu and to Rosie for their kindness, their friendliness, and their good humor. Finally, a very pleasant pool, and here too, a special mention to Eric and Budy for their kindness.
