Hotel de L'Europe

Dilapidated hotel, unsuitable staff, and unable to resolve any kind of situation and assume any kind of responsibility. Dirty rooms, dirty glass, dirty curtains. We slept in a suite, therefore expensive, overlooking a dark cavedio with emissions and the smell of a restaurant kitchen and at the same time loud noise of forced ventilation, very hot without air conditioning or fans. A non-salable room. For smells and noises mpossible to open the window. Bad experience for the whole group of our friends.

While the hotel is well-located in the city center, it is impossible to park. The welcome is mediocre, without warmth. We took the half-board; to our great surprise, we were alone in the large dining room, no table service, the dishes were in glass jars, placed on the table. Avoid!

Hotel not at all adapted for guests with reduced mobility. 4 steps to access a tiny elevator that a wheelchair cannot fit into. And in the accessible room, the shower opening is 50 cm. Impossible to make a transfer. Do not expect any help from the hotel staff. At the front desk, they pretend not to see you because they are too lazy to put out the ramp. In short, I knew the hotel was old and I understand that it is sometimes difficult to make these types of places accessible. But at the time of booking, they mentioned absolutely nothing, even though I had clearly specified that I was in a wheelchair. Furthermore, the person at the front desk was as unpleasant as possible, never a hello, nor a smile. She hasn't looked at me in 2 days, even when I was left alone waiting for someone to set up the ramp for me to get off the elevator. Never been so poorly welcomed in a hotel and I stay in a lot of hotels! And after all that, she even refused to make a commercial gesture. Disabled friends, avoid this establishment.
