Brit Hotel du Parc

Basic room, spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. A bonus have reasonably priced EV charge point on site.

The hotel seems a bit outdated, but the rooms have been redone. Bathroom without any issues, clean with the necessary towels. However, the same cannot be said for the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable, soft, and worn out. I usually remove the sheets and pillow covers when I leave a hotel or rental to give less work to the people who make the beds. I was completely disgusted to have slept for 3 nights on a dirty, stained mattress protector, hidden by the sheets. A cover can be washed; it should be changed, especially given the stains that were on it. If I return to a hotel one day, that will be the first thing I do. Look under the sheet. Despite the kindness of the staff, this spoiled my stay.

For a night or two, it's okay. Minimum comfort: one pillow, one towel, no kettle, tiny bedside table. Advantage Spacious room and large bathroom. It's quiet except for the creaking door.
