La Maison De Josephine

This is one of the best small hotels that we have been to. It is located in the heart of Sarlat, is charming, clean, nicely decorated. In addition, the owner was extremely helpful to us in dealing with a medical problem. He organized taxis, trains and gave useful advice that made our experience less stressful. We highly recommend this hotel.

I'm sorry to say but it wasn't as pleasant an experience as I would have expected, given the high rating value. The house needs a deep restoration. Upon entering the rooms you can smell closed and musty. Too much furniture. A mediocre breakfast. Ants in the room inconvenience. We were given another one, dark and damp.

Great location right in the center. Very good reception from the owner who is passionate about the house and gave us great advice to visit Sarlat and the area. Despite the outside heat, we were in room n°4 which is very cool. Breakfast very good.
