Chateau De Montcaud

An enchanted place, only a few kilometers from Uzes, and yet wrongly overlooked. A charming welcome, an elegant and spacious room, with a large bathroom, magnificent gardens, a large pool with enough lounge chairs. Two restaurants, including one Michelin-starred that could easily deserve a second star. The staff is very attentive, always smiling and ready to help or provide information. So a great stay, relaxing and at the same time with a very beautiful discovery. We will most certainly return. PS little bonus, perhaps a coincidence in a region often punished by the mistral: not a breath of wind during the two days of our stay.

We had planned to sleep two nights at the Château de Montcaud. We extended our stay in this haven of peace of 5 hectares adorned with magnificent trees that are over a hundred years old. The 17-meter shaded pool is perfect for swimming, even for experienced swimmers. And there is always a place to lie down and relax in the park while feeling like you are alone in the world. The staff is friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. The decor is very sophisticated: for example, a fresh rose in the bathroom near the mirror. The room amenities were perfect: a walk-in shower that was hard to leave. We tried the bistro four times: subtle dishes and service that you only find in the best places, like the personalized cocktail upon request that they remember every time you visit. No need to mention the quality of the food, which is unmatched within a radius of at least 20 kilometers.
