we booked 2 rooms on 05/28/2026. On June 8, 2026, we were informed that there was a computer glitch, and that only one room remains; we are truly saddened because we were inviting our children. Why wait until June 8 to inform us of the cancellation? On this day, June 9, we are informed that, after all, our rooms are available!!!!!! We found it difficult to locate another establishment. We are very dissatisfied with this practice.

We stayed three nights at Hotel Chabran with our baby and generally have a very good impression. The establishment is undeniably elegant, recently renovated with great taste, and offers a refined setting that matches the reputation of the house. The positive points The renovated rooms are particularly successful, with careful and warm decoration. We had booked an intermediate room: with a baby, the space was a bit tight but remained quite comfortable. For a stay for two, the size is perfectly suitable, however. Our room overlooked the RN7 and, contrary to what one might fear, we were not disturbed by the noise of traffic. The only more noticeable sound came from the music played in the hallways in the evening, which we found more bothersome than the road itself. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The maintenance team deserves to be commended for the quality of their work. We also greatly appreciated the small touches upon arrival, including the bottles of water and nougats, which are always nice. Finally, breakfast was an excellent moment. We had it three times during our stay and were fully satisfied: fresh products, a generous continental-style offering, and especially a particularly attentive and very pleasant staff. It is undoubtedly the service that left us with the best impression. The negative points The main downside concerns the parking. Its capacity is clearly insufficient given the establishment's attendance, especially since it is also open to restaurant guests without any apparent priority given to hotel residents. During our three nights, we had to park our vehicle outside several times. One evening, the parking lot was full. When I approached the reception, I was simply told: "I cannot do anything for you, Sir." It was ultimately a restaurant guest, at the time of settling their bill, who spontaneously offered me their spot. A rather surprising situation for an establishment of this standing. The welcome at the reception also seemed below what one can expect from a four-star hotel. Upon our arrival, the check-in was rather rushed: few explanations about the hotel, brief directions to the room, and even a floor error. The absence of a bellboy can also be surprising in this type of establishment. More generally, we sometimes felt a lack of attention towards the guests. One evening, as we arrived loaded with a stroller and several items, a person at the entrance greeted us politely but did not offer to help open the door, which was not automatic. The amenities in the room also seemed quite limited to us. Aside from a disposable shower cap, there were practically no essential accessories. Finally, the television was almost unusable throughout the stay: across all channels, the image was constantly pixelated. In summary Hôtel Chabran is a very beautiful establishment, with a certain charm, superbly renovated and offering quality services, particularly in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and breakfast. On the other hand, several aspects of the service — particularly the reception and parking management — did not seem to meet the expected level in a four-star hotel. Despite everything, we still have a positive impression of our stay and would be likely to return, hoping that these few points can be improved.

How to say?!! I am booking by phone for two nights. I arrive on site where I only have one night reserved. And upon leaving, they offer to charge me for 3 nights! When I book, I am not informed that the hotel is under renovation and that I might face inconveniences: like a grinder or drill starting in the morning at 8:00 AM. When I book, I request a room with a walk-in shower: I am offered a suite (room No. 11), the most expensive one... but I am not told that it has not yet been renovated while other rooms with showers are brand new because they were renovated this year... We stay for two days, dining two evenings in a row... not once do we have a visit from someone asking if everything is okay... How to say?!! The food is good, the hospitality still needs improvement... but it is never too late.
