Residhome Bures La Guyonnerie

My wife and I stayed here on a business trip for 5 days in July 2026. It is located inside a forest in a tranquil location. The property is large, has a very big garden where you can chill out and drink. The rooms are spacious with an attached kitchenette which is really the good part. However, there are several downsides. There is no room cleaning service if your stay is shorter than 7 days. You have to dispose the garbage yourself. You can get towel, toilet rolls upon asking at the reception. The hotel is about 17 minutes walk from the RER station with steep inclines and no public transport which makes it difficult to reach if you have luggage. However, the biggest downside is that there is no air-conditioning in the room or anywhere else. In the peak summer of July this year, the rooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable. They provide only one table fan per double occupancy room, which is hardly enough. Considering that it is not particularly cheap they could at least provide room coolers in every room. My (and my wife's) work was at University of Paris Saclay which is up on the hill in the direction opposite to the station. There is no easy public transport from Residhome to the university, so you need to take a long staircase up followed by a walk up the hill to reach the university campus. Good for exercise, but not particularly convenient. There is no restaurant in ResidHomes. There are few eateries close to the RER station and one convenience store where you can get most things. But if you stay here be prepared to cook.

Well placed under the plateau of Saclay. Very friendly welcome. Large room with good bedding. Slight downside on the organic breakfast in quantity of choice and with regard to the price. Besides, hard to find a way into the rates... even for parking.
