Campanile Deauville Saint-arnoult

Small room, missing paint on the bathroom door and electric radiator all rusted, staff not friendly at breakfast, missing lactose-free products, no butter, no scrambled eggs, no dried fruit, and what's more, upon arrival the first thing asked is to pay a 100 euro deposit, so not too much trust in their clients.

The strong points: quiet hotel, decent staff, Wi-Fi working very well, very large and free parking, bucolic side of the river, and decent bedding. The weak points: dilapidated hotel, paint needs refreshing everywhere and especially on the doors and baseboards, very dirty windows, no fridge in the rooms, no extra pillows provided but if you ask at the reception, they will provide them, many mosquitoes due to the proximity of the river, dilapidated shower mixer, and no non-slip mat in the bathtub, hair dryer taking an eternity to heat up properly.

In the morning when arriving at the front desk, one would like to hear "Did you have a good night"... Well, it is certain that after having requested a quiet room and in the end the window is right above the trash and delivery area...the morning wake-up call is early, very early. Breakfasts...nothing special. Pleasant room but bathroom / shower very cramped. Difficult not to flood the floor. The major asset remains the hotel's location and its pool.
