L'auberge Du Cochon D'or

We came to have lunch for a family meal and to celebrate a birthday, excellent meal, well prepared, the service is high-quality, waiter discreet but efficient We were won over Address to recommend

It was a real pleasure to make a relaxing and gourmet stop at this very beautiful establishment "Le Cochon d’Or" in Beuzeville in Normandy, just below Honfleur. Jean Marie VENDEL is a passionate chef and an excellent representative of Norman cuisine; assisted by his charming wife Tatsiana, they both manage this charming residence with a master's hand... Everything breathes the need to make the customer happy, through the quality of the cuisine as well as that of the welcome and the service provided by Madame. The menu is short and mastered. Everything is "homemade," and it brings together superb local products prepared in a very precise way! The whole thing is accompanied by a superb wine list covering many regions, including gems and very fine Bordeaux appellations in old vintages, and how can one not succumb at the end of the meal to one of the wonderful Calvados from the Pays d'Auge that sits in an enticing display case? The breakfast is frankly very delicious; the chef owns 120 different apple trees with which he makes his juice, his compotes, and the same goes for the jams! We can only recommend that if you are passing through this beautiful region, you make a gourmet stop at this establishment and visit this charming village... the stained glass windows of the church are also superb!

We had a nice time everything was on top of the room at the epicurean meal in a quiet relaxing location and I highly recommend
