Hotel De France et d'Europe

Nice hotel with a nice room setup. The only thing missing was a small clothes rack in the bathroom. However, regarding one of the staff members (probably the manager), he was quite unpleasant with some small, passive-aggressive, unprofessional remarks. The subjects were the cancellation of a breakfast and the late checkout of the room. I acknowledge my faults on the subject; however, it seems consistent for a professional to remain courteous and kind given the non-seriousness of the subjects mentioned.

Nice little hotel centrally located. Nice service good rooms (we had 101) in sufficient size. Limited number of parking spaces, slightly hidden diagonally opposite the hotel on a courtyard. Only about 5 min. Walkway from the Altstad - beautifully located on an island in the harbour. No problems with a dog!

Good location that allows in 5-7 minutes to reach the fortified citadel and the restaurants that are located on the front square. Basically furnished but comfortable room. Small bathroom, especially the sink. Breakfast to improve maybe with something hot. Paid private parking in front.
