Manoir de Moellien

We spent two nights in this magnificent relais. When you arrive, it feels like you are in another era. The setting is very evocative, albeit isolated. Spacious and comfortable rooms, and the staff is also very kind. Excellent breakfast. Dinner does not offer much choice, but it is good. The small village of Locronan is touristy but very beautiful.

Superbly restored manor. Very quiet location in a relaxing environment. However, there are a few points that need improvement. The welcome was very brief and not very friendly. The rooms are quite small and furnished simply (1 chair, for example). This is understandable as the King size bed, which is very comfortable, takes up a large part of the space. There is a major ventilation problem in the shower rooms, which results in residual humidity on the floor, making it dangerous as it is very slippery. Furthermore, the lack of ventilation leads to a proliferation of mold in the shower cabin, tile joints, and door joints. At this level of classification for the manor and the price of the night, we expect a different quality of the sanitary space. We did not meet any responsible person from the establishment to discuss this matter. The information was passed on to the restaurant staff, who were very attentive to the customers, but were clearly not responsible for the issue.

The mansion is very beautiful and the setting beautiful. Very quiet place. Welcoming hostess is very nice, as is the waitress at the restaurant. Dinner was great and dessert apple trompe l'oeil excellent. Congratulations to the chef! The room clean and very good bedding. We had a pleasant stay and recommend this place.
