Brit Hotel Cap Ouest

A night and a breakfast booked. A warm welcome, the room spacious and air-conditioned. In the evening, mussels and fries meal with Breton kir and strawberry tiramisu. The staff takes great care of us. The hotel is located near the GR 34, it's a walk to do.

Only the location is decent, staff clearly lacking motivation except for Nadine at breakfast and the housekeeping staff; too many tasks fall to the same person. So it's difficult to work when you have to serve breakfast, answer the phone for reservations, manage departures, arrivals, the spa, the jacuzzi, sales, cleaning, etc.... so it feels disorganized, you get the impression that no job description is really established, overlapping tasks??? The cleanliness of the spa needs to be reviewed. We are not given any info on things to visit, beaches, monuments; flyers are available on a display stand; not really any local products at breakfast and the daily menu was the same for 1 week and the products were mediocre. In short, you have to plan to go for walks; the terrace is poorly maintained. And we had trash and odors as well as flies for 3 days because of July 14th even though we paid for a sea view; the assistant manager agreed to make a gesture, then the price of 20e went up to 30e at the time of payment for the sea view; strange!!!!

Excellent welcome. Spacious and clean room. The hotel staff and restaurant are truly top-notch, not to mention the magnificent landscapes of North Finistère, even though it was very hot for a May. We will return with pleasure.
